The passes of old sickness and into my new beginnings.

I watched the most amazing movie last night. It was called

What shall I do?  Plan the meals for the week? Figure out when I am going to go work out?  Plan my family time? Make sure I have my camping menu planned?  Where, oh where, do I start? Start with one and get it done I guess.

Oh what to do..

Oh Dear Hot Weather,

You are currently 93.4 degrees F outside. This may not seem to be too hot but I live in Oregon. Beaverton, Oregon. I can’t say that I moved here for the rain, however, the 90+ days that you have stung together like my never forgiving waist line has caused discomfort in areas that I don’t enjoy. The illness that has continued to consume me is not helpful in these kind of conditions either. I am sure that I have sweat out as much water as I have consumed today.

I did start my day with the warm lemon water.  it Seem counter intuitive, the warm days that you have been giving me lately,  but it does help start my day. Here are a couple of reasons I would like to share:

Still Feeling “under the weather”

One of my favorite movies is . I am 38 years old woman and have two young children and one step-child that is an adult.  Yet, I love this movie. A young woman goes out of her comfort zone and becomes everything she wanted to be and didn’t know it.  In this movie one quote that comes to mind today is ,” I am one more sickness and I will be at my goal weight and If I am feeling hungry I just eat a cube of cheese”. That is how my stomach is feeling today. I am eating half of what I normally eat and somehow I am surprised that I have lost 5 pounds in 3 days.  Not a mystery at all really. Now how do a stay out of my comfort zone, by eating less and become the person I know I want to be.

I have spoken about my amazing friend and mentor Kat. She has been someone that changed my life towards food. The first step she had me take was drink water before each meal. However, when you start your day with a glass of warm water with a half of lemon squeezed into it, it normalizes your blood pH and starts your body off with energy. This is how I feel when I do it anyway.

One year later

Today was an interesting day. I have no appetite and felt ill all day. It is days like this that I wonder what it is that I am doing with my life.  I ask myself, “What are my goals?”, “What happened to make me sick?”. Then it hits you like a ton of bricks… lack of focus, intent to stay with clean eating a passion that makes you what to concur everything in your way. I am going to blog to keep in touch with my inner self and maybe inspire someone else to find their inner passion.
